Did you know the body stores stress in 9 different areas?


Did you know most people are stuck in varying degrees of Fight v Flight, with their cortisol and adrenaline slowly dripping, all day long?


Stress weighs us down through inflammation, causing irritability, fogginess, indecision, anger, depression, sleeplessness and more. As our stress goes up, our cells store water, tightening the fascia system connecting the skin and muscles, creating tightness, pain and lack of oxygen and blood flow.


The book “The Body Keeps the Score” shows a connection between the cells in our body and our thoughts, memories and emotions, revealing the shocking idea that we can carry stressful events inside of us for decades.


Many feel it, but most feel stuck with the process.


As great as self help books and yoga and therapy are, most of it deals with a talk therapy approach, and engages the conscious mind, and not the subconscious (which is the iceberg beneath the surface), which is why change can take so long, and often feel unapproachable.


Many of us know there’s a problem, and can talk circles around it, but feel helpless to activate actual change.


Whether you have current stress, or are carrying years and months of it doesn’t matter.


Huge amounts of stress can be accessed and releaved through Breath, Movement and Music alone–in one session.


Uri is a musician and song writer, who’s learned to use music as the foundation for assisting people with their mind/body connection. As hard as it can be to believe, music really does have the power to heal, to move the cells, to activate tissue and DNA, to help us let go go negative energy and make space for the positive.

Each note is a frequency that engages and moves the cells in our body, far beyond what the ear can hear.


As a piano tuner, Uri has often said, “People are not broken, or in need of fixing. Just like a piano string can go out of tune, making the piano sound aweful, people often just need a couple tweaks to get back in tune, and feel and sound beautiful again.”


Added to the music, Uri is certified in Psych-k (a meditation and self help modality), and includes learning from Coaching, Psychology, Sports, Martial Arts and Indigenous Cultures, drawing on various wisdoms around the world from Disney to Tony Robbins, from Ancient Egypt to Epi-genetics, Subconscious programming & good ol fashioned encouragement.


Uri often shares that this is not a sport, there’s no competition or comparison, there are no expert meditation-ers out there, you can go as intense or light into the practice as you feel comfortable, and that people will ultimately get out of it what they put into it.


This experience offers room for the high intensity of some individuals, and the soft, gentle approach of others.

The most common feedback I hear is, “Oh my gosh, I feel 1000 lb’s lighter!”



WHAT TO EXPECT

Groups and Individuals will experience soft & clear teaching and instruction, short conversation, and then invited to breathe deep through a handful of postures and motions to help engage and expand the fascia. This goes on for 10-15 min, and then participants are invited to lie down, relax, and just listen to the music for the final 20-30 minutes.

Participants are encouraged to where comfortable clothes for movement, knowing sweating is quite possible depending on your chosen engagement.


In the end, the practice is designed to help people move out of Fight v Flight and into a state called “Rest & Digest”, by regulating the nervous system.


Participants will feel relaxed, calm, less stressed, and the clarity and aliveness that comes from a regulated nervous system.
